Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Roxy Russell Hypnotherapy. By scheduling an appointment, using our website, or engaging in therapy sessions (whether in-person or online), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions designed to protect your interests as a client.
Commitment to Therapy
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process that requires commitment from both client and therapist for optimal results. By committing to a course of therapy, you agree to actively engage with the process, including listening to audio recordings as advised.
Sessions
Duration: Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes, except for smoking cessation sessions, which last around 90 - 120 minutes. An initial consultation of about 20 minutes is offered free of charge.
Fees: The fee per session is outlined on www.rrhypnotherapy.co.uk. Please note that while I strive for the best outcomes, results cannot be guaranteed. Fees are charged for my time and expertise, regardless of the outcome.
Location: Sessions are held at the Light House in North Berwick. Online and home appointments are available upon request.
Appointments
Booking and Payment: Appointments are by booking only. Full payment is required at the time of booking via bank transfer to secure your session.
Changes and Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment; otherwise, 50% of the session fee is payable. No-shows will incur the full session fee. Cancellations must be made by calling 0735 600 8386.
Late Arrivals: Please inform me if you are running late. I will accommodate you if possible, but the session may still end at the scheduled time, and the full fee is payable.
Therapy Questionnaire
Before starting therapy, we will complete a questionnaire detailing personal, medical, and lifestyle information that may affect your treatment. Please update this information if there are any changes. Note that hypnotherapy is unsuitable for those with epilepsy, dementia, or certain psychiatric conditions without a doctor's referral.
Confidentiality
All information collected is confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing the best possible care. Exceptions to confidentiality include:
Risk of harm to yourself or others.
Disclosure of child abuse.
Membership in a terrorist organisation or involvement in money laundering.
Court orders compelling information disclosure.
Records are securely stored and not shared with third parties. Supervision may involve case discussions, but identifying details will be omitted.
Standards of Behaviour
I am committed to providing respectful and professional therapy. Clients agree not to harm themselves, others, or property, and to avoid attending sessions under the influence of alcohol or drugs (other than those prescribed). I reserve the right to refuse sessions in cases of inappropriate behaviour.
Guarantees
Hypnotherapy requires client commitment and motivation. While success cannot be guaranteed, most clients achieve positive outcomes. Estimated session numbers will be discussed at the initial consultation and may vary based on individual needs.
